Vote NO on Prop E

We at VGOD take things very seriously when it comes to vaping. It is beyond a doubt that we only want the best for our customers when it comes to our premium e-juices, hardware, entertainment and customer service. We truly care and we like to have fun. But, we also understand that there are a lot of things happening throughout our great Nation that is extremely threatening to not only the vaping community, but to our individual rights concerning freedom of choice as adult consumers. Right now we are specifically concerned with what is occurring in the County of San Francisco and the local ballot that voters will be voting on in just a few days on June 5th. It contains Proposition E, which if passed, will legally declare that you will no longer be able to purchase flavored e-juice in the entire County of San Francisco. Proposition E is as follows:

“Proposition E defines a flavored tobacco product as any product that a manufacturer or a related entity has stated “has or produces a Characterizing Flavor, including but not limited to: text, color and/or images on the products Labeling or Packaging that are used to explicitly or implicitly communicate that the tobacco product has a characterizing flavor. Proposition E was designed to amend the health code to ban the sale and distribution of such products” (https://ballotpedia.org/San_Francisco,_California,_Proposition_E,_Ban_on_the_Sale_of_Flavored_Tobacco_(June_2018)).

Proposition E is about banning the freedom of adult choices and that is why everyone in San Francisco needs to vote NO on Prop E. Banning flavored tobacco products is not the proper solution to keep youths from obtaining tobacco products. We absolutely want to keep tobacco products out of the hands of children and that is why California has raised the legal age in which one can purchase tobacco products. As a community we need to work together to enforce this. No one should be selling tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21. In addition to this, it is our duty to educate the youth of the consequences of tobacco usage, so they can make good choices for themselves.

Vote NO on Prop E! We cannot allow this proposition to pass. Not only will it bring about unintended consequences, but it will set a precedence for the future and allow legislators to believe that they can continue to limit the freedom of choice for all United States Citizens. If you live in San Francisco, we urge you to vote NO on Prop E. If you are not registered to vote, California is a state that will allow you to register to vote on the Election day.

We are aware that many of you may not live in San Francisco, however, you may have family or friends who do. Please, reach out to them and urge them to vote NO on Prop E on June 5th!
